Whitney Barricklow - The Whitney Barricklow Band

· Suzanne Vega -- Nine Objects Of Desire

I like to sing along, and this is a great album to sing along to.

Her voice is so smooth. The album is rich with mood and extremely easy on the ears. It is driven, but at the same time very warm and laid back.

· Rush -- Hemispheres

I'm totally new to Rush. There is so much to hear, and they are all such incredible musicians. I think they sound like a whole orchestra. I like the poetic lyrics.

· Alanis Morissette -- Jagged Little Pill

I like this album because it is passionate and poignant and not perfect.

· The Flaming Lips -- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots

Also new to me. It's heavy and chaotic, then light and dreamy. It's like abstract art.

· Emily Strand -- Delay in the Connection

Emily writes good songs. It's extra fun for me to listen because I remember the first song she ever wrote, and I've watched her evolve musically. The title track rocks particularly hard.
