Clermont County
Food pantries will benefit from a collection of nonperishable items during Children's Book Week at the Clermont County Library. The food drive, Nov. 13-18, is part of the American Girls Collection's National Kit Can-Do Challenge. Donations will go to Clermont County food pantries. Pop-up books will be the topic of a program by Gene Wagner, who will show his collection of 10 years. The program is for children 3 years and older and their parents. Participants will learn how to make a pop-up craft. The program will be November 18 at the Milford-Miami Township Branch Library, 1099 State Route 131.

Citywide
Talk to the Mayor is a program to give citizens an opportunity to discuss issues with Cincinnati Mayor Charlie Luken. Appointments are available from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every other Thursday by calling 513-352-6298.

Racial profiling is the subject of "Driving While Black," sponsored by the League of Women Voters. The nonpartisan discussion will be at locations throughout the community:
