Inspired by a trip to Indonesia, Macha main man Joshua McKay created much of the album with various exotic instruments collected on his journeys. Eclectic and somewhat eccentric, the cross-breeding of styles works to great effect, with a sound that fits alongside other underground Post-Punk acts, but delves deep enough into other, more worldly and natural influences to separate the band from anything else in music right now.
Saturday at Sudsy Malone's with Jets to Brazil.
