Local photographer Gordon Baer and 21 contributing artists explore the conflicting emotional states that arise in all wars and consider how wars throughout all generations have invariably generated divergent social and political thought.

Baer brings together some the region's finest artists in Shattering the Myths: 21 Visions of the True Cost of War now through June 14. "I'm damn proud of the work being created," he says.

SHATTERING THE MYTHS runs through Flag Day, June 14, at the Kennedy Heights Art Center, 6546 Montgomery Road. Gallery hours are 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 10-4 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 513-631-4278.
