L.A. vintage clothing collector, stylist and author Cameron Silver will be at Northside’s Evolution Studio Monday signing copies of his book Decades: A Century of Fashion, now in its second edition. As part of his talk, Silver will give a sneak peek into the exhibition he curated for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Rudi Gernreich: The Total Look, which looks at the artistic collaboration between model/muse Peggy Moffitt, photographer William Claxton and California fashion designer Rudi Gernreich.

The traveling exhibit will be opening at the Cincinnati Art Museum in early 2015, and proceeds from the evening benefit acquisitions for the CAM’s Fashion Arts Department.

7-10 p.m. $100; includes a one-year membership to the Friends of Fashion. 1645 Blue Rock St., Northside, cincinnatiartmuseum.org.
