There’s a personal reason — the Cincinnati Ballet’s 50th Anniversary Alumni Reunion; she was in the original company when she was 13. But there are also several public events. On Friday, she’ll be at Downtown’s 21c Museum Hotel (609 Walnut St., 21cmuseumhotels.com) for a free 8 p.m. screening of Wild Style, with cocktails at 7 p.m. and a post-movie Q&A. On Sunday at 2 p.m., she’ll be doing a reading and signing of her memoir at Over-the-Rhine’s Iris BookCafe, (1331 Main St., irisbookcafe.com). And at 5 p.m. Sunday at Over-the-Rhine’s Symphony Hotel Restaurant, (210 W. 14th St., symphonyhotel.com), she’ll present another of her classic New York underground movies, Amos Poe’s 1977 The Foreigner. It’s also free; drinks served at 4 p.m.
