The Heritage Village Museum, Cincinnati’s premier 19th-century living history village goes from historical to haunted for six nights of fright and fun.

The annual “Haunted Village” features a family-friendly dose of thrills and chills.

Take a wagon ride through the village or tour the cemetery, all the while enjoying the company of the village locals — the ghosts, the ghouls, the mad scientists and the headless horseman himself. Costumes encouraged.

6-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Through Oct. 26. $8; free for members. 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharon Woods Park, Sharonville, heritagevillagecincinnati.org
