Head down to the 2700 block of Vine Street to celebrate the rebirth and renewal of one of Cincinnati’s most historic neighborhood centers: Short Vine. Not only is this carnival-inspired block party an excuse to feast on foods from your favorite food trucks and bounce around on carnival-style inflatables, it’s also a chance to see the nationally known musical act Blessid Union of Souls perform live along with Mike Mains and the Branches.

Noon-9 p.m.

Free. To learn more about Saturday’s festivities and the Short Vine Entertainment District, visit shortvinecincy.com.

I danced, I ate, I was alone. The turn out was tiny! It was wonderful for those attending. Lot's of room, no annoying crowding around the stage by wall flowers. Free food since they could not sell it. What else, oh, I didn't even catch the Christian over tone on stage till later. Man, they are getting slick. Ah, the rythm section for headline was tops.
So was the pickle juice. Am I leaving anything out, oh yeah, weirdness, those in the spirit held up lighters for the finale, the lost souls held up their I-phones! BWAAAAAAAaaaaaa!!!!
P.S. I love it when security outnumbers the people.
