Growing up in Lake Forest Park, Wash., Adam Ray developed an interest in comedy, particularly characters and impressions. In elementary school he fooled a buddy into thinking the prettiest girl in school was calling him. “I could impersonate her voice pretty well, so I would call him and talk to him as her,” he says. “‘Sit by me at lunch tomorrow, and brush my hair with your hand,’ and he’d do it!”
Ray’s talents took him to acting school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and since graduating from that program he has done several TV show guest spots, talk show appearances and was most recently in the film The Heat.
