Nothing says summer like some good old-fashioned fun at the fair. So whether you’re feeling nostalgic for your 4-H days or just a city-dweller looking to get in touch with your Americana roots, you’re in luck: Fair season is in full swing in Ohio. Cheer on your favorite 4-H-er, show off your country side with a slice of the best pie in the county, feel the excitement of demolition derbies and tractor pulls or snuggle up with some cute animals at the petting zoo.
At the Warren County Fair (July 16-20), you will even have a chance to spend some time under the big top at the Zerbini Family Circus, while the 163rd Butler County Fair (July 21-27) invites you to show off your cornhole skills in a tournament.
Whether you choose to take in a few horse shows, feast on fair food, spend some time on the rides or run off to join the circus, a day at the fair means fun for your entire family.
