Celebrate the majesty of the mighty Ohio River with a weekend full of water- and family-friendly events at Paddlefest.
The 12th annual Paddlefest Weekend kicks off on Thursday with the Kids Outdoor Adventure Expo at Coney Island with four areas of education and activities: Let’s Move, Let’s Explore, Let’s Go Green and Let’s Splash. Kids will learn about everything from fishing and paddling to Zumba, Tai Chi and recycling.
On Friday, Coney Island turns into an outdoor party with the Ohio River Music & Outdoor Festival.
There will be kayak lessons, all-day boat demos, tree climbing and live music from Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Jake Speed and the Freddies, Wheels, Jeremy Pinnell & The 55’s and The Lewis Brothers.
On Saturday, it’s time to pedal or paddle during Paddlefest & Cincy Pedalfest. Paddle or pedal your way along the Ohio. Whichever method you chose, there will be a finish line festival at Yeatman’s Cove with food, refreshments, vendors and live music.
