Explore the 19th century mayhem of Cincinnati vice, corruption and crime during Queen City History’s tour of saloons and subterranean cellars that kept alcohol sales booming straight through Prohibition.

Starting at Arnold’s, Cincinnati’s oldest continuously operating saloon (originally built in 1838 as a brothel), guests will learn a detailed history of the establishment leading all the way up to present day.

The tour will then take an educational walking route to explore the history of inebriation and chaos made possible by the dozens of breweries and distilleries Cincinnati has/had to offer.

Learn about the corrupt side of the city and walk back to Arnold’s, where cold beverages and food await.

11 a.m. Saturdays through September 14. $25. Arnolds Bar and Grill, 210 E. Eighth St., Downtown, 513-304-6900, queencityhistory.com.
