Event: Summerfair Cincinnati

By Emily Begley · May 29th, 2013 · CityBeat Recommends

Summerfair 2013 — one of the oldest continuous art fairs — returns to Coney Island for its 46th year of celebrating and appreciating art.

The event will feature more than 300 fine artists and craftspeople from across the country in addition to gourmet arts, regional performers and a youth arts area for kids.

Admire photographs, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, wood and so much more. Visit with artists and purchase your favorite pieces.

This artistic extravaganza is the primary fundraiser of Summerfair Cincinnati, a nonprofit organization working to support the arts in the Queen City for more than 40 years. Proceeds benefit various arts opportunities; the group provides support through awards, scholarships and exhibitions.

2-8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. $10. Coney Island, 6201 Kellogg Ave., Anderson, 513-232-8230, summerfair.org.
