During my time at last year’s Toronto International
Film Festival, I took up what became a personal motto to go “where the
frames took me” over the course of my weeklong viewing experience. It is
quite humbling to encounter a film like Reveal the Path, which
takes that idea much further down the proverbial road. Mike Dion’s film
tracks the journey of Tour Divide race legends Matthew Lee and Kurt
Refsnider as they cross four continents in search of something more
profound than racing glory — human inspiration, using their bikes as
something akin to moral/spiritual compasses.
A special screening of Reveal the Path
will come to Cincinnati at the Esquire Theatre 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.
22. The event is a benefit for the Cincinnati Off Road Alliance (CORA).
Advance tickets to the screening are $10 and are available at
imathlete.com/events/revealthepath. Tickets the day of the show will be
$15 at the door. Esquire Theatre, 320 Ludlow Ave., Clifton. To view the
trailer or for more information, go to revealthepath.com.
