Five years after the mysterious disappearance of Katie (Katie Featherston) and her nephew, paranormal activities emerge in a new suburban community. A teenage girl (Kathryn Newton) and her boyfriend (Matt Shively) begin documenting the strange happenings on cell phones and their computers, and the big tease for the fourth installment of the found footage franchise is that we will finally get answers to some of the key questions.
Directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Catfish) return, having already steered Paranormal Activity 3, which took audiences on a prequel journey back to the roots of the horror. Now in theaters. (R) Not screened for review
