Between the Bunbury Music Festival and the winding down of the World Choir Games, this weekend would seem too packed for any more live music in downtown Cincinnati. But the ever-busy Fountain Square will remain ever-busy with its weekly concerts, including Friday’s free MidPoint Indie Summer concert.Headlining this week is Cincinnati’s Seabird, a piano-driven Pop/Rock band that has had success with a pair of albums for EMI/Credential Recordings. As a special little World Choir Games tie-in, the group — currently working on a new Kickstarter-assisted full-length — will be joined during its set by the award-winning Boğaziçi Jazz Choir from Turkey. Also on Friday’s bill are great Cincy rockers The Harlequins and Chicago Indie Folk ensemble Jon Drake and The Shakes. Friday, July 13. Showtime is 7 p.m. myfountainsquare.com.
