Stakeholders and city officials attended a morning groundbreaking ceremony, which marked the beginning of the first phase of three in the redevelopment project, which is expected to take around 16 months to complete, according to Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC).
The project affects 2.67 acres of land in Over-the-Rhine between East 13th and 14th streets, bounded on the west by Vine Street and on the east by Walnut Street.
Thirty of the 126 apartments will be in a
price range affordable to those making 50 to 60 percent of area median
income, according to 3CDC.
