Here’s a wish for world peace, or at least the often-overlooked World Peace Bell. Do your small part while giving some attention to the Newport landmark during the Humanity Outpost, through July 22. Whimsical and uplifting steel sculptures by Springdale artist Edward Casagrande, featuring the likes of hearts and angels, will join the bell as symbols of “community, connectivity and good intentions.” Activities and attractions throughout the three weeks include daily yoga classes, dance and music, with a World Choir Games concert 3 p.m.

July 7 featuring singers from China, Canada and Columbus. The first day begins with yoga at 9 a.m., world music at 11 a.m. and songs from Mark Macomber & Friends at 1 p.m. lead up to the opening ceremony at 2 p.m. A carillon concert follows at 3 p.m. 425 York St., Newport.  Free. humanityoutpost.com or contact the Malton Gallery, a presenting sponsor, at 513-321-8614.
