This year’s 42nd Earth Day celebration, themed “One Earth, One Chance,” is hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition and the Environmental Protection Agency. The day is full of events for everyone and it wouldn’t be a party without great live music and mouth-watering food. More than 75 vendors offer earth-friendly products and educate the public regarding environmental activities. Kids can enjoy the petting zoo while proud parents watch their 3rd- through 7th-graders participate in a Student Recycled Costume Contest and Fashion Show. The main stage plays host to the environmental awards presentation, recognizing the individuals and businesses that have gone above and beyond to keep Cincinnati beautiful. Noon-5 p.m. Free. Sawyer Point, Downtown. cincinnatiearthday.com.
