An explosion at an ammunition dump in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, killed more than 200 and wounded about 2,000 more. The explosion was allegedly caused by an accidental fire, which set off a cache of tank shells. The blast scattered ammunition across the city, causing additional violence and casualties after the original explosion. WORLD -2
