Winter: Peppers in Image and Word.

Explore the fascinating world of the chili pepper, otherwise known as Capsicum annuum. The exhibit focuses on the historical background, uses (as a medicinal ingredient and food item) and artistic representations of the pepper. Peruse an extensive display comprised of an array of images and photography by artists such as W. Hardy Eshbaugh, Jean Andrews, David Carangilo, Amal Naj and Jeff Schickowski. The exhibit also includes books from the Lloyd Library and Museum’s collection (including 16th and 17th century volumes) and reproductions of Eduardo Fuss’s photography. Admission is free.
