More fun than watching cold donkeys stand around at live nativity scenes and safer than sledding down hills on lunch trays stolen from the school cafeteria, holiday light shows are sort of a contemporary yuletide tradition. Hamilton’s Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park has embraced this family-friendly wintertime spectacle and is presenting its annual Holiday Lights on the Hill through Jan.

1. The drive-thru exhibit features hundreds of thousands of festive lights (which have recently been transitioned to ecologically friendly LED bulbs to please the green-minded) strung in trees, along bushes and shaped in elaborate tunnels and designs. Kids of all ages are invited to “ooh” and “aah” at the 265-acre park any day of the week, with operating hours of 6-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 6-10 p.m. Friday-Sunday. During the week, adults can get in for $7.50 and children for $2.50, but the price jumps to $9 for adults and $3.50 for children during the weekends. Call 513-868-8336 for more information and visit www.pyramidhill.org to snag a coupon for $2 off admission.
