The convention also features Japanese Guest of Honor Shinichi Watanabe, also known as Nabeshin, the director of the fan-based comedy series Excel Saga and Nerima Daikon Brothers and the comedy-drama The Wallflower. Convention visitors will also be able explore the Artists’ Alley where they will find fan illustrators and crafts, a large dealers’ room, video game and collectible card gaming tournaments hosted by the Mount Healthy game store YottaQuest. SugoiCon begins 3 p.m. Friday and ends 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets at the door are $25 for a one-day pass and $45 for the whole weekend.
