The picturesque village of Glendale might seem like a sleepy place, but leave it to this elegant town to celebrate its appreciation for food, drink and charming local history with an equally classy party! The Glendale Beer, Wine and Food Festival spans three days of wine tastings, food sampling, live music and much more from within and around the Glendale Village Square. Gourmet street food from local restaurants will accompany a massive selection of more than 90 beers and wines, and featured spirits will be up for grabs throughout the festivities.
The nearby Iron Horse restaurant will hold a special Burgers and Beaujolais luncheon at noon Saturday for $25. Attendees of all ages can browse art, jewelry and gifts for sale while enjoying a wide variety of live music, or wander through local historic buildings on self-guided tours. Best of all, $1 from each admission ticket will be donated to The Cure Starts Now Foundation to fight pediatric brain cancer. The party runs 6-11 p.m. Friday, 2-11 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5, and drink tickets run $3 per ticket or $10 for four. Seats for the Iron Horse’s luncheon will disappear fast, so call 513-772-3333 for a reservation ASAP.
