It's summer. Barbeques burn at full bore and the smell of sumptuous grilled food drifts through neighborhoods. Burgers, steaks and chicken sizzle and make mouths water. This festival is part European, part American and all Cincinnatian. It’s about sausage, hot dogs, brats, metts, smokeys, Old Fashion Jumbo Dinner Franks, foot longs, chorizo, Italian Sausage, Leona Sausage, Goetta and wieners (to name a few).

Let's get this out of the way now… it’s a literal sausage-fest for lack of a better term. Cincinnati's own Queen City Sausage arranged the celebration of all things meat in tubular casing. The company says there will be over 20 ways to enjoy their different forms of sausage. Vendors promise to deliver mett pizza, mett and brat coneys, gyro metts and Super Brats. Local beer companies Christian Moerlein and Hudepohl will all be in attendance in a beer garden looking over the Cincinnati skyline. Entrance into the festival is free and includes live music, games and activities for kids.
