Local films often present a unique message or a common idea in a fresh or avant-garde way. Get your fix of local flicks with the Cincinnati Art Museum and Southern Ohio Filmakers Association as they present the summer installment of Reel Art Films. View art through a historical lens with a variety of documentaries from directors such as Morgan Neville and Orson Welles.

Enjoy the artful cinematography of Academy Award-nominated Biutiful (pictured), or be fascinated with F for Fake, a Welles flick about the notorious art forger Elmyr de Hory and his fraudulent biographer, Clifford Irving. The Southern Ohio Filmmakers Association will showcase a locally produced short film prior to each featured flick. June 5-Aug. 28. Purchase tickets online or at 513-721-ARTS. cincinnatiartmuseum.org.
