It’s not every day that Hip Hop collective D12 rolls through Covington, especially to headline a set at The Mad Hatter (620 Scott St.). Hell, it’s not every day that D12 rolls anywhere together, given that two members — Bugz and Proof — were tragically shot to death and member Eminem has been busy being a Hip Hop superstar/legend-in-the-making for the last decade or so. (No, Eminem is not expected to be in attendance, unless the Hatter manages to wrangle up a couple hundred thousand bucks or so in the next week).

Nevertheless, our friends at Live Loud Industries, a Cincinnati-based booking and management company, have lassoed D12 on their Dirty Nation Tour, providing Cincinnatians the opportunity to behold Michigan’s notorious collective on a small club stage. Opening acts include Young Buck and Trick Trick, plus local acts like River City Ransom, Open Mind Productions, Unrated Business, Congo Square, Trademark Aaron and Lazy Ass Destroyer. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
