Calling all fashion fiends — as if Cincinnati residents need another reason to spend a Saturday kicking back at the ever-inviting Northside Tavern, the bar will be hosting the Project Northside Spring Fashion Show this weekend. Funky Northside boutiques Chicken Lays an Egg and NVISION will be showing off their stuff in the name of local fashion along with designers Mary Faith Colon, Tori Kadish and Helen Smith. Accessories will be provided by Fabricate and Sweet Hayseed’s Wearable Wonders.
Bring your checkbooks if you want to be the first to don Northside’s bold array of new trends, because designs will be available for sale during the event. Not only will local shops and designers be sharing the spotlight, but models will also be sporting hair and makeup prepared by stylists from Taylor Jameson Hair Design. Local artist, musician and designer Jason Snell will emcee the event while DJ Mowgli provides musical entertainment fit for the catwalk. With free entry and provided parking, Cincy trendsetters have no reason to skip out on this collaboration of local creativity.
The show kicks off Saturday at 7 p.m. at Northside Tavern. Go here for event details.
