Have you sampled all of the brews that Cin City has to offer? Want to try other states' best beers without leaving your hometown? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions then MOTR Pub (1345 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, 513-381-6687) has just what you are looking for. MOTR's “Nearly 50 Kegs From Roughly 50 States in Approximately 50 Days Beer Fest” will tap a different beer from a different state daily through May.

The beer tastings begin 6 p.m. Wednesday with offerings from the Big Apple’s Brooklyn Beer. Five Brooklyn brews will be on tap: Pilsner, Main Engine Start, Brown Ale, Lager and Summer Seasonal. A flight of five 5-oz. glasses is $10 and pints are priced variously.

Day two of 50-50-50 Fest starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, when MOTR honors the state that we all hold near our hearts, O-H- (you know you wanna say it) I-O, with brews from Mount Carmel. Visit www.motrpub.com and see what band is playing that night for more clues as to which brewery is chosen to represent each state. The 50-50-50 Fest will continue until they run out of states. Not every state will be represented by a beer that is distributed in MOTR’s market.

Mount Carmel is in Cincinnati, not Columbus. http://www.mtcarmelbrewingcompany.com/
