Van Jones is one heck of a guy. In fact, in 2009, Time magazine named him as one of the world's most influential people. So it should be no surprise that he's the founder of three nonprofit organizations, each of which focus on empowering people living in disadvantaged communities. This Yale-educated civil rights attorney who has spent his career as an activist for human rights and environmental issues will speak on “Environmental Justice and the Green-Collar Economy” at 7:30 p.m.
