Ever been to a performance and wondered what it was really about? Or felt the urge to share your opinions with other folks in attendance? Here’s your chance. Local modern dance luminaries MamLuft&Co. Dance and Demetrius Klein Dance Company have curated Dialogues in Dance, a fresh, eclectic show where your feedback is encouraged to shape an immediate dialogue about the brand-new works.

Taking place at Contemporary Dance Theater’s home (1805 Larch Ave., College Hill), the program features five premieres from the aforementioned groups as well as artists from Columbus, Dayton and Muncie, Ind. "(Modern dance) is such a new form of art, such a nebulous form and such a vast one that we need to be thinking about it more, making it happen more and talking about it more,” says Artistic Director Jeanne Mam-Luft. Whether you’re a newbie or a longtime modern dance fan, this could be your ticket to enhanced enjoyment of the form.
