CityBeat: Where did you eat your last great meal and what was it?
Chris Bronger: My last great meal was spaghetti and meatballs at Pompilio’s restaurant in Newport.
CB: Hathaway’s still has that ’50s vibe. Has the décor changed much?
CB: No. When I bought it three years ago, we shut down for three weeks and we renovated, but it was all mainly cosmetic changes. Structurally, we left everything the same because that’s what I fell in love with about the place — the nostalgic nature and charm of it.
