Is Music Hall haunted? Come find out for yourself at the Guided Ghost Tour of Music Hall Friday from 7-9 p.m. The tours will focus on the paranormal past and present that has been discovered at this National Historical Landmark. Participants will hear stories about Music Hall with deep historical roots, most stemming from the early days of the city and the graveyard located in the area. This event is hosted by the Cincinnati Research and Paranormal Studies (CRPS) organization, which is dedicated to investigating, documenting and researching paranormal activity.
The after-hours haunt will explore a side of Music Hall that has not been seen by other patrons. You will tour the auditorium, ballroom, Corbett Tower and backstage. According to the CRPS Web site, “Employees, guests and performers alike have reported many strange experiences at Music Hall. From phantom singing and music being heard in different parts of the building, the freight elevator moving without being called, period figures in the auditorium seats, beautiful ladies strolling the halls, voices in the tower to restroom water facets being turned on when no one was in the building.” Tickets are $25 and limited to the first 40 participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring your own detection equipment. Additional tours have been scheduled in March and August.
