Hit the New Year on all six-cylinders this year when you get your glad rags on and gather ’round Know Theatre’s gin mill for the New Year’s Eve Speakeasy Party. After you’ve decided which Fedora matches your Sheba’s flapper dress, you’ll want to be sure to show up at Know's underground door at 1120 Jackson St., Over-the-Rhine. Once there, you must relinquish the password in order to enter the juice joint. Flash your cash, beat your gums and gain some (or lose some) at the gambling table.

Be sure not to get caught holdin’ the bag at these back-alley games!

There’s no excuse not to get jazzed with the indulgence of Martinis, Manhattans, Sidecars and all the other bootlegging that you can think of. Put on the Ritz with appetizers and food provided by Mayberry, Skirtz and Johnston and Washington Platform. Give your gams a shake and get your wiggle on with swingin’ ’20s dance lessons. You’ll be too busy to even look at the clock ticking down as you toast free champagne, get’cha kisser ready and watch a live feed of Times Square take over the big screens on both floors. Have a copasetic evening as CityBeat and Know Theatre throw a New Year’s Eve Speakeasy Party 8 p.m.-1 a.m. Friday. Tickets for this event are $20. Prepare to get ossified!
