Attractions: Holiday Lights on the Hill

By Stef Fuhr · December 21st, 2010 · CityBeat Recommends

Hundreds of strands of lights have been pulled from storage and untangled to create the Christmas classic Holiday Lights on the Hill. The event is running nightly at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park in Hamilton. More than 2 million lights will create the spectacular display that runs through the park. You won’t have to leave the comfort of your warm car to see Candy Cane Lane, a quarter-mile stretch of road lined with 12-foot-tall candy canes or any of the other light displays that run through the park.

Skaters and swans will glide along the park’s lakes and through the tunnels of lights. You will be amazed at the monumental sculptures glowing among the lights. The park is open throughout the holidays and admission ranges from $10-$75, depending on how many people are in your car. Hours are 6-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday through Jan. 2.
