Manifest Gallery currently has three individual shows in itsthree separate galleries — ArthurBrum, Ivan Fortushniak and Billy Renkl. The outstanding one of the bunch — a marvel, really — is Renkl's Plan for aGardenshow ofrecent works. These fabulous collages have been painstakinglyconstructed (resurrected, in a way) fromsuch sourcematerial as old books and maps.

The artist, based in Tennessee, hasbuilt new imagery, andnew meaning, from the old in a way that makes you realize the ongoing potential for beauty in everything human-made that has ever been discarded or forgotten. The show is up through Jan. 7 at 2727 East Woodburn Ave. in East Walnut Hills Gallery hours are 2-7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. Saturday although the gallery is closedthis Friday and Saturday,Dec. 31andJan. 1.
