The 365 days of naughtiness are completely worth the one day of coal in your stocking, don’tcha think? The folks at Shadowbox Live couldn’t agree more. Get ready to feel the burn in your cheek muscles this Yuletide with an array of hilarity at Shadowbox’s Holiday Hoopla. If you are looking for sugar plums dancing in your head and a land of gumdrops, you’ve got another thing coming. Holiday Hoopla offers a collection of sketch comedy and music dedicated to those on the naughty and on the nice list — they don’t hate or discriminate!

The show has such a diversity of performers that it is guaranteed to be enjoyed by all who take pleasure in laughter.

Get schooled in the art of caroling from the “Campfire Boys,” learn a thing of two about reindeer games in “Gone Huntin'” and get the real scoop on the Nativity story in “The Firstest Christmas.” Prepare to be wooed by The Santa Babies and house band BillWho? whose repetoire ranges from The Kinks to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Told you they have something in store for everyone. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students, seniors and active military personnel. Come kick it with them through Jan. 8 at Newport on the Levee.

Go here for show times, tickets and directions.
