Shopping. Some love it, some hate it and some just get on Amazon and do it in their underwear. But if there was ever a reason to put on your sweat pants and roll out of the house, Cincinnati Unchained would be it. This Saturday, more than 50 local stores and websites will be hosting specials to entice shoppers out for a day of shopping bliss. But Cincinnati Unchained is more than just a day of deals; it will also help the local businesses and community, as more money is funneled back into the community when shoppers buy from locally run businesses than national chains.

And if helping your fellow man isn’t enough incentive (after all, it isn’t quite the season of giving just yet) each time you visit one of the participating businesses, you can get a stamp on your Cincinnati Unchained passport, obtained online, which you can turn in for a chance to win a gift basket. A full list of participating stores (including Park Vine, NVISION, Bromwell's and Mustard Seed Boutique) and their Cincinnati Unchained specials can be found at http://www.buycincy.com/unchained.html.
