Cincinnati and surrounding area is home to many venerable art and craft fairs and, really, few things say autumn to me more than troves of handiwork and baked goods. One I’ve just learned about is at Villa Madonna Academy in Villa Hills, Ky.
Going into its 13th year, the fair will feature more than 70 artisans and vendors.
In the list of expected items for sale, the embellished jean jackets and hand-crafted rosaries stood out, but certainly there will be painting, photography, hand-sewn items, jewelry and lots of Christmas and other holiday decorations. This year is particularly enticing because along with the craft fair and bake sale, the New Richmond Alpaca Farm will be on site with two live alpacas and a range of crafts made from their fleece.
The fair take places Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Academy’s gymnasium. Go here for event and venue details.
