The Zombie Invasion Network of North America (ZINNA) released an alarming report this week revealing that the deadly, flesh-eating virus known as Solanum (a.k.a. Zombie Virus) has finally touched down in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Investigators determined the site of contamination to be Northside’s vintage clothing boutique Chicken Lays an Egg, located at 1608 Chase Avenue.
Despite contamination, owners Maya Banatwala, Jessy Baum and Dana Hamblen will host an off-the-hook doomsday shindig Saturday night to celebrate Chicken Lays an Egg’s first anniversary, featuring performances by DJ Whocares? and Scary Jim. Northslice pizza and Halloween treats will also be provided. Attendees who still have a pulse are strongly encouraged to dress accordingly (in costume) due to the overwhelming risk of zombie attacks and additional contamination. The party lasts 7-11 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
