The Dungeons of Delhi

By Randy Schadel · October 13th, 2010 · Halloween List
The 2010 Dungeons are celebrating “The Year of the Crazy,” and they’re taking it to heart. From the Klowns to the body bags to the frenzied sorties The Keeper mounts on the crowd, you’ll be treated to a high energy haunt that has no dead spots.

Using a large crew (up to 50) of youthful actors, The Dungeons are as energetic and twitchy as it gets. While they sometimes lack subtlety, the constant barrage of twisted characters works to keep the stress levels of hauntgoers high. The first floor features original ghouls and scenes and showcases the Dungeons’ gallows humor.

The second floor is largely splatter movie characters and features a disturbingly “real” Billy (Jigsaw’s puppet from the Saw movies). There’s also the Monster Garage, the ultimate chop-shop where parts are always in stock, be they human or vehicular. The Dent Schoolhouse donated many impressive unused props to the Dungeons, which only added to the high level of detail within. Even with a $2 price increase, the Dungeons are still a haunt deal.
