CityBeat: What’s the best meal you ate recently and where did you eat it?
Molly Navin: Sausage and noodle casserole from my mother’s recipe, served at the Parish Kitchen! All our meals are great, but that one’s a crowd pleaser.
And so is spinach salad! But if I had to pick a restaurant meal, I’d say pasta at Otto’s (521 Main St., Covington). It’s incredible.
CB: The holidays are coming. Any suggestions for people who want to feed the hungry?
MN: It’s not a holiday thing. It’s an every day thing. People’s intentions are so good, and I don’t want to discourage anyone, but the holidays aren’t different than today. One thing that we always welcome? Homemade desserts. They always make meals special. And our guests need travel-sized deodorant and toothpaste, since they carry them. Small is good.
