Well, well, well — what do this weekend? Maybe some
summer cleaning? I’ve been putting that off successfully for about two
months now. Go to the pool? It is going to be 90 degrees outside but
I’m not gonna shell out $8 to wade in urine while a bunch of tots
scream their heads off. I think I’d rather get jiggy to some good,
old-fashioned Rock music.

series continues with an all-local lineup at Fountain Square on Friday
night, starting with sets from Soapland and The Guitars. After that,
it’s all plaid and v-necks with “clap-your-hands-say-Pabst!” Blues
rockers The Lions Rampant. A trio of long-haired local boys, Buffalo
Killers, wrap up the evening’s proceedings with their no-nonsense
approach to rocking shit. Music starts at 7 p.m. and the Square will
cease to rock at 11 p.m. (along with the booze and grubs up for grabs
