Country�Club Gallery in Oakley is sponsoring a Saturday night screening�party�for SONIC ORPHANS, film archivist Bill Daniel's collection of "lost music films" from 1965-1987�that contains abandoned,�forgotten, found and�now-presented-raw-without-editing footage containing the Beatles, Sonic�Youth, Avengers,�Johnny� Cash, Butthole Surfers and others.

Most are silent. Admission�is $5�for the�event, which starts at 7 p.m. and will include a discussion�of "orphan�films." There will also be music provided by Hominid and The Librarian.
