Every summer, Learning Through Art hosts multiple events, and this year’s series will begin with a flashy kick-off: The Virtual Photo Exhibition at Fountain Square, featuring photography from Cincinnati residents as a part of the Kroger Cincinnati Snaps Competition.

While the photo exhibit makes its debut on the Macy’s Jumbotron, LTA will distribute 2,500 free disposable Snap Cam cameras to attendees.

As you photograph the afternoon, enjoy the sounds of Orchestra Kandela, Cincinnati’s all female 12-piece salsa band.

Though the exhibition runs through Aug. 31, be sure to stop by today to see announcing and awarding of the 2009 photography contest winners. If you would like to join in this year’s competition, entries may be submitted here.

LTA events are always eclectic and great for meeting new people. Cincinnati often gets criticized for not having more cultural events or recognizing the diversity of our city. Well, that's only if you haven't made an effort. And this one's easy. Stop by Fountain Square between 5 - 7, and SEE FOR YOURSELF! Not an event you want to miss!!!
