The creepiest annual event returns to the Cincinnati Museum Center for a seventh year. And this year’s Bugfest promises to be as informational, crawly and kind of gross as ever. All ages are invited to explore the world of arthropods to learn about their unique characteristics and clear up many common misconceptions about the little critters.

Events include Build an Insect, Cockroach Races, Insect-O-Vision and Insect Tastings. Yes, bugs will be available to eat. They’re a common food source and even a delicacy in other countries. The Museum Center will be providing a chocolate fountain where you can dip the bug of your choice. Yum!

Bugfest is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $8.50 adults, $7.50 seniors and $6.50 children. Get event and Museum Center details here.
