CityBeat: What’s the last great meal you ate and where did you eat it?
Maria Walley: Hong Kong Won Ton Big Bowl soup at Suzie Wong’s, with shrimp and pork wontons.
That’s the most recent one, but it’s not my favorite. That’s the Chicken Noodle — the one with mushrooms. And the spicy Korean soup, Jan Chi Guksu. I’m just crazy about noodles in broth.
CB: Is that because you just had a cold?
MW: No, although I did just have a cold. I love Suzie Wong’s noodle soup. We live nearby and go there a lot, and I say “I could eat this all the time” every single time I go. It’s the ultimate comfort food. And really healthy, too. It takes a long time to eat it and you don’t have any room left to eat anything else afterwards!
