If you like the photos you see in the pages of CityBeat, then you’ll probably like max, a one-night photography exhibit from 7 p.m.-midnight Friday at The Mockbee featuring more than a handful of CityBeat photographers (Scott Beseler, Cameron Knight, Joe Lamb, Brian Leckrone and Jesse Reed) working in both traditional and digital formats. The images will obviously go beyond the editorial images you see in our pages and reveal the more artistic longings of each photographer in large, small, black and white and color images.

Aimed at just plain exhibiting the work of these contemporary Cincinnati photographers, max has no hidden theme or agenda, but it will be the first photography showing of Shay Derickson, Knight and Leckrone (and the last show for Leckrone and Reed before they relocate to the West and East coasts, respectively).

Free admission, cash bar and a Ping Pong table. Get event and venue details here.
