Jim Short was born in Australia and moved with his family to Texas when he was 12-years-old, yet he doesn’t feel like a native of either. To make matters worse, he now lives in San Francisco and is soon moving down the coast to Los Angeles. “I feel like the biggest nomad, you know? I don’t feel like I belong anywhere,” he says. “I don’t feel like I belong in Australia, and I never really considered myself a Texan.” This comic-without-a-country, has lately been talking to audiences about survival in these tough economic times, but not from any sort of political perspective
