When the School for Creative and Performing Arts students look around their soon-to-be neighborhood, what do they see? Twenty-one SCPA students participating in Prairie Gallery-sponsored opening 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday, held at the Miami University Center for Community Engagement, will show you. After basic photography instruction at Prairie, the group collaborated with InkTank’s creative writing program at the Drop Inn Center to produce photographs responding to writings by Drop Inn residents.

The resulting dialogue is the core of the New Voices exhibition and can also be seen on the project’s Web site, www.cincinnatinewvoices.com Other Over-the-Rhine locations visited by the students include Belmain on Main Street, the 1400 Block of Vine Street and City Home on Pleasant Street. The exhibition continues 2 to 5 p.m. December 9-ll and December 14-18.
